Planting Time

The weather was gorgeous this weekend, and we've been so busy getting ready for Baby #2 that we suddenly realized we better get our tomatoes and other plants in the ground before it was too late! Bennett "helped" Matt with some of the planting, and now it's done, no thanks to me. It's a little bit uncomfortable for me to crouch and bend for long periods of time these days. :) We had such good luck with our tomato plants last summer without much maintenance on our part, and we're hoping for success again this year. We also planted basil, romaine lettuce, and a sunflower seed for Bennett. We'll see how everything does!

Nice work, boys!

  1. You mean you aren't bopping up and down from a crouching or kneeling position with ease when you are 9 months pregnant?? Hmm, unusual....NOT:-) I'm impressed that you had the energy to get the camera out and venture out to get the pictures, that would have seemed too much work to me at your stage of pregnancy:-) Can't wait to hear news of the little peanut's arrival!! Hugs to you all!!
