We celebrated Christmas in Milaca with Matt's family on December 18, and what a merry one it was. I called this a "Toy Story Christmas" for Mr. Bennett, as he was gifted all things Toy Story. He now has Woody, Buzz, several games, coloring books and candy, Legos, and many other items to go along with his other Toy Story loot at our house. To say he is fan of the Toy Story franchise would be an understatement; he's more like a super duper fan. Emma had a jolly Christmas, too. She was given a beautiful doll by her Grammy and Grandpa, some darling outfits, and a Dressy Bessy doll. Matt and I didn't walk away empty-handed either, but I need to take a moment and remember the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place. Yes, we were definitely given many fabulous gifts, but we are truly blessed to be able to celebrate Jesus' birth and be with our loved ones, even if it was a few days early.
We tried and tried to get Bennett to look at the camera, but he was just too interested in his new Buzz Lightyear toy.

Same story about trying to get Bennett to actually look at the camera, a different toy this time
Emma is a typical baby; she loves the wrapping paper and doesn't even notice the gift!

and off they go!
