Ice Skating

We finally made use of one of Bennett's Christmas gifts--his new ice skates. There's a rink a few blocks from our house, and we ventured over there this morning. Bennett was so excited--he's really been enjoying the speed skating on the Olympics and said he was going to speed skate. :) There was no one else skating at the rink, which worked out nicely since Bennett's a first-timer. He really enjoyed himself! Matt helped him a lot, and Matt also thought to bring a folding chair along for Bennett to use to push himself around, which worked really well. After getting used to the feel of the ice, Bennett was trying to skate on his own--very cute! Hopefully we'll make it out a few more times before the ice melts.
