Now that it's officially fall, we took a trip to the apple orchard, which is one of my favorite things to do! We found a great place about 30 minutes from our house called Fall Harvest Orchard. We tried it out for the first time last year, and loved it so much we had to go back! It's a real working farm, so they have lots of animals and all kinds of fun things to do. When you arrive, they give kids a bag of grain to feed the chickens and goats. Bennett really liked that! After feeding the animals, Bennett played around in a corn pit, and then we walked over to see some cows and more goats. Once we finished that, we took a wagon ride around the farm and the driver stops to explain things about the different crops they plant, and then you get to get out of the wagon and go and pick gourds and popcorn! We made our way back to the orchard, and picked our pumpkins and purchased some apples--no picking ourselves this year--Bennett was READY for a nap! We had a fantastic time, and I can't wait to go again next year!
The chickens know Bennett has food!

That tickles!

So much fun!
