An Evening at Lake Calhoun

We headed over to Lake Calhoun on Sunday night for a picnic and a walk around the lake. It was a busy night there since the weather was absolutely gorgeous! We ate quickly so we could get over to the playground so Bennett could let off some steam. He was able to play for a bit while we tried to keep the mosquitoes off of Emma and ourselves. Luckily, Bennett seemed to escape them. After letting Bennett run wild for awhile, we headed back to our car and got on the road to come home. It's always grand to spend time together as a family and take in some different scenery. I'm hoping the weather will allow us to do this a few more times before the snow comes!
