Soccer

Since Bennett was finally old enough this summer for a very casual organized sport, I signed him up to play soccer.  It was for four year olds and was a whopping four weeks long, so I knew we'd be able to handle it.  Needless to say, it is adorable to watch your child listen to a coach and try new skills, and as Matt told Bennett, learn the "fundamentals" of a sport.  We really enjoyed being spectators on the grass as Bennett and several other kiddos tried their best to practice kicking, trapping, goal-tending, and various other activities.  Seriously cute.  Bennett's already looking forward to another sport, possibly this fall, and returning to soccer again next year.  Gotta love Parks and Recreation!
